The Course is appropriately chosen to keep pace with the expected Industrial expansion, modernization and diversification due to the liberalized Government Policy and a number of foreign collaborations. The Course benefits both the self-sponsored and Industry sponsored candidates. The self sponsored candidates have much better chances of employment and promotion and the sponsored Industries will benefit through better equipped and more knowledgeable employees.
This course imparts necessary knowledge in the theoretical and practical aspects of Tool Design. General subjects related to the trade and extensive practice in Tool Design including CAD will be taught to the students. At end of the course they will be able to do Tool Design independently
Should hold a ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. Preference will be given to experienced candidates in the above branches.
