I completed my Diploma in Tool and Die Making and passed out in the year 2004 from NTTF Tellicherry, Kerala. I got to know about NTTF from my relatives when I was in the 11th standard. After transferring to Kerala from Karnataka, I experienced a lot of cultural and language differences. But the staff and students were cordial and made me feel at home.

In the year 2003, I was advised by my seniors to apply for industrial training. I attended an interview with Jain Industries, completed my industrial training there and started my journey in 2004. I wanted to be an entrepreneur and it took me 8 long years to start my own business.

We are into the design, manufacturing, and production of Pressure Die Casting and Gravity Die Casting for aluminium and zinc. Our major clients are Meena Industries and Suyog Auto Cast for which we handle 4 to 5 projects per month. We have a team of 12 people and have reached a turnover of about 1.5 Crore per annum. Ours is still a two-year-old company and we have a long way to go.

We still collaborate with an alumni group, and whenever there is a requirement, we post it there. We also have seniors from NTTF coordinating with us from Dharwad, Tellicherry, and Bengaluru. This helps us maintain good relationships and also acquire requirements whenever there is a need.

The main difference between NTTF and other institutes is that they insist on instilling practical knowledge from the first year itself. So, by the time a student completes 3 years, he/she has optimum knowledge and experience of working on every type of machine. During our last semester, we had the opportunity to work with Toyota. That was a very valuable experience that can’t be obtained anywhere else.

NTTF inculcated the art of discipline in everyone which was not emphasized by any other institute and I follow their principles even till today.
