I studied at NTTF Bengaluru from 1993 to 1997 and completed my Diploma in Tool and Die Making. I came to know about NTTF through a friend’s sister. My father was from a Mechanical Engineering background and encouraged me to join NTTF as he was well aware of the quality of education there.

It was a wonderful journey and the training program was exemplary. We used to work on several industrial projects, especially in the manufacture of tools for Maruti Udyog. After our training, a couple of us joined Lucas TVS in Pondicherry. I wanted to do something more and joined Engineering in Manufacturing Science.

I started my own company in the 2nd semester of Engineering called Chaitanya Graphics, which focused on the domestic market. We started working with automotive and aerospace industries for designing jigs, fixtures, tools and moulds for these companies. In 2002, I got an opportunity to work on an electrical switchgear project for an Iranian company. After gaining experience, I started Aqua Infotech as we had established a solid client base and got to work on a lot of overseas projects.

From where it all started till today, we are into product design and development, product benchmarking, product 3D scanning and reverse engineering in the manufacturing industry. Our clients include HAL, NAL, Bharat Electronics, HCL Technologies, Wipro, L&T, TVS, Mahindra Group, etc. We cater our services to overseas clients as well. Post 2010, we have also introduced third party inspections to validate products from vendors and customers.

Due to the seamless method of instruction followed at NTTF, the amount of work and effort I had put in turned out to be very rewarding. The NTTF training program imbibed a lot of things in my mind and built confidence and positivity. This has helped me greatly in my personal and professional life.
